RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS
Community Event

Inspired by Gandhi, where we need to ‘be the change we want to see in the world’, I planned the first Random Acts of Kindness day in December 2004 with the hope it would be the first of many such events.  I recognize (and hope) that people practice random acts of kindness in their everyday lives; however I also see the value in planning an official event.  It serves as a ritual, a reminder, a meeting place to reconnect to ourselves and our world, to ‘take time out’ and dedicate a whole day to service. And hopefully spurs an initiative within ourselves to be good and live better.  For me at least, this is the case.

If you would like to participate in one of these events, please contact me!
