TALKS/WORKSHOPS AVAILABLE

With over 15 years of experience in working a diversity of settings Kate E. Deeming is skilled at leading a wide range of workshops/talks.  Following is a selection which can be tailored to suit many settings.  If you would like to discuss other options contact Kate E. directly!

The Power of the Holistic Leader

This workshop is highly inter-active. It is about YOU!

Put simply it addresses the question around “why operate either yourself or your organisation on three cylinders only – when you have six waiting to purr under the bonnet?” (If you care to look, touch and feel!).

The focus is therefore experiential and explores what it takes to be a holistic, well rounded leader ie being aware of heart and mind and body; and how this awareness can lead to a “whole leadership” approach with improved decision making and teambuilding and increased morale and wellbeing influencing better bottom line results.

“Every organisation, no-matter how large or small, would benefit significantly from a day with Kate E Deeming. Kate has some wonderfully effective processes that create new levels of understanding and wellbeing, both for the individuals in a team and collectively. This is the basis of grounded team–building and learning that subsequently enhances corporate performance and bottom line results.”

PRAYER DANCE

Talk explaining my initiatives behind outdoor dance practice,

which links into a many-thousand year old tradition of people expressing their prayers in movement.

We look at other traditions that utilize physical expression as a way to connect to something greater than themselves and reflect on how this knowledge can impact our own lives in a positive way.

Inspirational Talk “Dare to Dream”

It’s not so much taking the road less travelled, it’s walking where there is no road, and within you a keen sense of hope, adventure, a passion for living and a desire to leave the planet in a better place then when you came in.  It doesn’t have to make sense, it just has to feel right.  The sense will come in later…..This is how all genius is born.

“This is an excellent opportunity for everyone, especially young people, to be inspired by a first-hand account of growing up through challenges to carve out an exciting, wonderful and creative life.” (Coordinator Festival of Imagination)

Requirement: Projector and screen to show photos, play film clips and music.

Suitable for young people 13–21 years or anyone making a transition in their lives.
